As many of you, my '06 RR came with Pirellis Diablo Corsas, but these are discontinued.
My front tyre is still in excellent shape but I need to change the rear tyre.
Would it be a problem to change it for one of the new Pirelliseven if it won't be the samemodel as the front, or should I change both in order to have the same compound?

A similar question was asked before.

You probably will not even notice a difference unless you are in heavy rain or on the racetrack. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

I will order a Corsa III. Worst case scenario, should I feel it does not work good enough with the front Diablo Corsa, I will order a new front too.

Just out of curiosity: What kind of riding do you do most? What part of the rear tire is worn out?

 

I have a corsa on the front and a corsa III on the rear...........it's fine. If you stay in the same brand you are generally ok. Not only are these in the same brand, they are essentially the same model.
