I love my 93' 900rr, but I have ridden a lot of my friends bikes, and as I still love my bike I see the advantages of the newer machines. Now a 600 makes as much power as a Liter bike did a few years ago..... I wish I was 16 again and just got my bike license.

Keep riding guys

loo forward to your face hurting from the constant smile your going to have when you twist the throttle. This is a very fon machine to ride compared to the FZR. Im a tall guy weighing 250Lbs and the FZR was a bit small for me. I was going to get rid of the FZr and not ride anymore but when I took my buddy to trade his bike I saw the 900 RR on the sales floor and fell in love! Though they ar plenty fast stock I already spent some money on the upgrades....Factory Pro jet kit, Racing air filter,Factory Pro ignition advance +4, I have on order a full D&D exhaust and changed the front sproket to a 15T. It is still pretty cold here 31 deg F here this morning and i still rode the bike to work. I really cant act up with her yet because it is still cold but the couple of days we were in the 60's and 70's I managed to put 900 miles on her.

The FZR is a great bike but I don't feel i would miss anything about it. The 900 is a MONSTER compared to the FZR. you trist the throttle and your hanging on by your finger tips.

Good Luck with your new ride, respect it and it will respect you. I was reading a post here where a guy got a 900 from his friend and he started cleaning it up. after 18 pages of reading and almost having it completed the bike was wrecked by some women that struck him totaling the bike.

That was one of the saddest stories that i ever read.
