Hey Sincalirider, how long did you wait for your mirror to come?
I bought mine from Mottomummy before they discontinued them. So they were in stock, took about 3 days to arrive.

I doubt it since I ordered a replacement part a while back and they gave me a shipping email update within a day. I think that part took a week to get.

Come to find out, I bought it from Japanese site that seemed like their official site, it is not. So they are ordering the mirrors. When they get it, then they will send it to me.

They are still filing down one of the carbon fiber fairings, but one side was on today. So the work done in the pic are 1) swapped subframe to black powder coated one from sliver one I had, installed carbon fiber heat guard, installed one side of the Y shaped carbon fiber. We are waiting for my license bracket to come back from powdercoated then we will add Rizoma Zero turn signal next to the license and also put on the license plate light bolts on top of the license. Then we are done, almost. I am not sure how fast the mirrors will get here. But that will be the last thing I will be doing.

While I was there, I sat on the lowered 2012 gsxr and had the guy hold the front to practice getting the bike up from kickstand and to put it down. That is still hard to do, but hoping I will be able to do it sooner than Sept, because now I really want to ride my bike.

Magical racing mirrors came in today. It has blue tint to the mirror and carbon fiber on this thing is amazing. I am used to with small rabbit ear mirrors but I think I would like this one on my bike. It also has the adjustment elbow on the stem

I forgot to mention they have a blue tint. lol When you picked up the box they were in did you think it was empty? I thought they forgot to ship my part since the box felt heavier than the mirrors. haha

Reading this got me thinking about a mirror change too, just got back from the garage getting my bike out after a few weeks of no riding, and those original mirrors really caught my attention... Caught a length of garden hose too from a hook in the wall and turned the left one all the way front... I hate the original ones cause they have that rubber thing around the legs, and it has shrinked over the years so that they don`t stay on the plate in the fairing end and the metal plates are always showing. Found a pair of old mirrors that has been sitting in my garage shelf the last 10 yrs and bolted them on just for fun:

Stylewise pretty much what I like, qualitywise...cheap, knock-off, chinese toy crap... Also the fitting in the bike should be a flange-type instead of a one bolt to cover the other hole... Propably gonna ditch them and put the originals back for as long as I can find proper quality ones I like...
