Glad to hear your ok....i think it might of had something to do with those new Harley boots...you werent concentrating on the turn actually and were more worried about the boots fitting under the shifter..lost your focus...trust me...i know the feeling....
I have a pair of ICON Motorhead that gave me the same scare on my 600...the leather on the boot is still new so it wouldn fit nice under the shifter and messsed up my concentration in a simple braking turn...i came out inscathed luckily but i never wore them again.

 

what are you doing with Harley boots?...
go getta real riding boots and better gears than just jeans...
