Why did you go with the smaller rim tap this time. Looks like you use to have the thicker one. Just curious. I am trying to decide what color of rim tape to get. I have the '05 that is silver/black. I can't decide if I should do silver or go with red to stand out and match soem of the 600RR decals on my bike. Any suggestions?? Not trying to push into your post either, just getting an opinion.

 

Yeah CJ... don't think I didn't notice the crack pipe on your tool box in the background of your pictures... just didn't think I should point it out. You know, people might get the wrong opinion about you. And hopefully tomorrow it'll be warm and dry enough for me to test the -2 with PCIII. I've been riding, but you know how it is... I haven't really had the right weather to hit the twisties and really test them out. But.... just from normal riding... big difference so far. I'll have to see how I do up against the R1 and the GSXR 750.

i had the 1/4" rim tape on there, i liked it don't get me wrong. I've always liked the r6's wheels looked with the small pinstripe. I found this on ebay and for $10 i figured i'd try it. I'm definetly happy with it, i think it makes the rim stand out more. Once i take my first ride with the corbin, i'll post up a write up about it
