Does anyone know if the windshields you buy online are tinted or painted. I am not sure if i should buy a windshild online and paint it like i no some people have done or buy some online. I just dont like the shape of alot i have seen online, i kinda like the oem look.
This will be for a 2006 cbr 600rr

 

You can buy either or whateverelse the internet lets you choose from. a lot of the nicer brands have a oem style look but are tweaked for better air flow

 

Personally I don't like painted windscreens. The color never seems to match so it looks off. Also I would be careful about painted them yourself. I have seen some that just spider cracked all over.I really like the tinted ones, just think they look bada$$. Look at this website. The SR series is OEM. I have a Zero Gravity on my F4i and love it. Fits very nice and looks great.

I ordered my sliders from kneedraggers.com and no complaints.
The windscreen on my F4i was on the bike when I bought it so I am not positive if it was the smoke or the dark smoke but it is pretty dark so I want to say dark smoke. Here is a decent pic:
