So i took my windscreen off my 2006 cbr 600 and I am curious how to install it. Do the nylon washers go on the underside or the top part of the screw so the nylon washer touch the paint. I took it off about 3 months ago and I cant remember now. Also of the 6 screws 2 of them have a black rubber washer. I am assuming this goes in the middle screws on each side where the mirrors attach.

Anyone have a little write up for me.

 

The nylon washer goes on top of the screw so that it touches the paint. It protects the paint.

 

i assume you are talking about well nuts..the "washer" side goes on the outside of the fairing, and the bottom of the nut expands as you tighten it.
