You need to make the IMG into img or even [IMG] thats what i do

So I assume you took took normal prep painting procedures? Did you put the paint on the inside or outside?

inside and all you need to do is clean it really good with an anmonia based cleaner. then paint away.

Did you not need to key the surface first with some sort of fine sand paper or wire wool first so the paint has something to stick to?

when i sprayed the screen on my old cbr600 F-L i keyed it, cleaned it, primed it and sprayed both sides to save from getting that 'orange peel' effect i think it looked pretty good

you're almost ALWAYS gonna get the orange peel when painting plastic - the material has too much flex not to - and not to mention the pores in it - its just not the same as metal -

thats why whenever you take a car to the bodyshop the bumper never quite matches the quarter panel again - just different surfaces
