i ride with a couple of buddies of mine, but i ride alone alot, was wondering if there was a way to find riders, website or something, im in pa

 

I would but I live in Louisiana. Iam also looking for a few people to ride with sometimes. most of my friends ride Harleys and my bike just does not fit in not that I have anything against Harleys. I am planing to get one in the future as a second bike but I would like to do a few mods on my cbr first.

 

I have trouble finding sane people to ride with.... people who do the speed limit/aren't trying to prove something to everyone... trouble is I'm in MI...

 

Check out the Regional Section (find your "area"/state) or perhaps the Road Trips section. When I first joined this great forum, at that time, I just moved to a new area and didn't know anybody. I started a thread in the Regional Section "OHIO Riding...?" and met alot of cool people on there, who I ride with, hang out with, etc.. One guy, Jared, is like my lil brother now but his punk *** never gets on here anymore, we ride/talk/hang out alot...Mr. "THE DON" Collins is also another nice guy that I met. Just check out those sections that I listed and I can almost guarantee that you'll meet some people. Hope this helps you out a lil bit. Trust me, I was in the same boat as you were. I have the same problem most of my friends with sport bikes are always wanting to see who is the fastes or riding crazy.Don't get me wrong that is fun sometime, but sometimes I like to just ride. Lately it rains almost every day around here. Yestarday the rain got me on the way home after work but it was fun.

 

I found that everyday group riding (even with my two roommates) gets tiring after a while. You always have to worry about them, if they can make it, if they keep up, and where to go, and if they even want to go there.

I found lately that I LOVE to ride solo with the "occasional" group ride. I can go where I want, when I want without having to slow down to have anyone play catchup. Just me, the road and my bike.........THAT's what I love about motorcycling.
