It is called position light or third eye. I think it's there so that you are more visible

It's called a third eye and it's suppose to be on when the bike is turned on.

Yo tatertot, I don't know where you're from man and please don't take this the wrong way or anything ... but if you're here in the US the cops tend to frown on red lights being placed on the front of a vehicle (red lights are only supposed to be on the rear of a car) ... Just in case you have to get your bike inspected or anything .... the state troopers here in Louisiana would definitely pull ya over and mess with ya for sure ...

Just throwin that out there for ya ... don't want ya to end up gettin into trouble over something simple like that man ... :\

ps (to 9-5's post): blue should be only used by cop, so you can have it as decoration color but you shouldn't be running with it all the time. Around here, that is a easy way to get pull over.

This is true ... had a blue underglow kit on my mustang for about a week (take a guess as to why it was on for so short of a time) ... thanks for that tidbit yumoncbr ...
