Default 07+ gas gauge

Hello all, can anyone that has a owners manual for a 07+ 600RR look to see how much gas is left when the last bar starts to flash. I can't seem to find that info in the service manual. I know on my F4i it was. 92 gal, wondering if its the same on the RR. Thanks!

Are you saying that when the last Bar was flashing it was .92 gallons remaining?

That doesn't sound right. That's almost a whole gallon of gas. Considering the tanks are 4.whatever they are.

No no. On the F4i when the reserve meter came on there was .92 gallons left. The the more you drove the more if flashed. The RR doesn't have a reserve meter. When it gets low enough the last bar starts flashing. I want to know supposedly how much gas is in the tank when the last bar on the RR starts flashing.

Ahhhhh, yes now I see what you're saying.

I'm pretty curious myself. I made it down to the flashing bar myself last week.

In simple world, you could divide the 4.8 capacity with number of bar. But the world is not that perfect, isn't it?

I found it on another forum when i first got my bike. When the last bar is solid it has 1 gallon. When it starts to flash its at .5 gallons. I think its in my manual as well.

The last bar on my gas gauge started flashing on my way to work today so I stopped to fill up and it only took 3.8 gallons which means I still had .95 gallons left. I don't know if my meter is off or if Honda meant it to start flashing with about .92 gallons which is similar to when the reserve meter would pop up on the F4i. Just thought I would share in case anyone else was interested in how much fuel was left when the last bar started flashing.

That still seems like an awful lot for the flashing, but I guess that makes sense. Better to have too much time than not enough.

Once on my F4i I had it all the way down to the last little bar section blinking before I found a gas station. Not sure how close I was, but it would have been a bad moment to be stuck on GW parkway with no gas
