Went down just after new paint
Driving to work yesterday not a mile from my house I started hearing a sound like metal clickin and remembered my dad and I just raised my bike back up and looked to check if my fork screws were loosening. Just as I look up from my quick glance down some chick pulls right out in front of me.... Obviously hit the brakes, *** end came way up in the air. Let off the front brake to get the rear to drop and with all the housing contruction in the area the road is completely covered in a layer of dirt so after reapplying the brakes (probably about a foot away from hittin the car) I felt my *** end start sliding in the dirt and down she goes... nevery hit the car but was close enough I could almost tell you what type of cell phone the b***** was talkin on. Well as expected the driver keeps on going. So now I get to use tax returns on fixing my newly redone bike rather than keepin the project going[sm=sigh.gif]. Anyone else get the feeling sometimes if they didnt have bad luck they wouldnt have any at all? Oh well, could have been worse, I came out pretty much injury free and the frame sliders/swingarm spools ate up about 90% of the damage, only really need to replace my tail section. No damage to sides/front of the bike. Atleast I got to post up some pics for you guys of the project before she got all messed up.

Irresponsible drivers are such a drag. Im sorry that you got laid up, but im happy to hear that you are safe. You can replace the tail on a bike, not your own. My bike has been going back together recently, and you have definitely inspired me to go over her yet another time just to be safe. Good luck with the repairs!
