Slyncka,

Your bike is the color scheme I like the best. It so popular that they were all out of them at the dealership. So, I got the Black, (my second choice). Anyway, thanks for the input on the microfibre cloths. I will get them too.

The "Honda" cleaner, is only about 5.99, thats what i stick with. I usually last about 3-4 washes depending on how **** you are. Even at that rate, it is still cheap!

I use (Spray Cleaner & Polish). Its about 6.99 for a 14oz can. I swear by it. After using this stuff your bike will shine like it did when it came off the showroom floor. It also does a great job of repelling bugs after its applied.

I wash my bike like I wash my car. Clean hand wash mit, hose, and chamois are all you really need to wash. Those spray waxes are ok, but they don't leave the shine or fill light scratches/swirls like a good wax. When you're washing, if you are in the sun, wash the bike in sections and rinse immediately so the soap does not dry and streak. After I wash, I usually lube the chain again so I don't bother cleaning the back wheel. A few days later, I use an adhesive remover/cleaner to get all the black gunk/lube off of the rear wheel and swingarm.

I don't wash my bike, I just ride it in the rain, and let it air dry in the garage.
Washing takes time away from riding. . .and it will just get dirty again.

i think he was referring to when you said you wanted a different color scheme but they were out, so you went w/ your 2nd favorite, black.

which is mine btw! black is the nicest color.

Okay, well I can see what he might think. But, I'm 100% satisfied, for the record.
