voltage rectifier replacement

Default voltage rectifier replacement

well its about that time to change my rectifier... been a good 3 years and finally its not charging my battery anymore... so anyone know how hard it is to do this?

looks to me that i just take off the left hand mid-fairing and a couple of bolts, undo the wire, and viola im done!


anyone got any tips???

I assume CBR600RR because you are posting here, but what year. On my 05 you're right. Just a few bolts holding the side panel on and it's right there. I just did my frame sliders yesterday and had to move the wiring and to fit.

here's a snap shot from the shop book.... if you have any more questions, just ask. All I have to do is use the search feature of the shop book and type in a keyword to take me to that page. The book is for the 03/04 but I've found it very useful for the 05.
