Default Turn signal help!

Ill make this short and simple...I already have an integrated tail light installed on my bike with no resistors so I have a fast blink. Today i installed my PROTONS and wired them for STROBE. Well, i plug everything back in and the signals act goofy. Ill turn a direction on and the proton will do its thing in an odd way and the integrated tail light direction will stay on solid with a flicker. So i rewired the protons for NORMAL BLINK and it does the same thing justbut now the protons will blink kinda weird and the tail light just stays on with a flicker.

What do you guys think it is??? Will they not work because they conflict eachother?

I think I possibly burned out a relay... maybe?

BTW its a 2004 600RR

barf..check your wiring. Check your wiring for each light before you move on to the next. I don't have protons but its a simple series circuit, so Id make sure you didnt get to excited and make a wrong connection. Hope that helps!

eh i was extremely careful when wiring it. being an electrician i've learned that we have no eraser on our pencils...meaning there is no room for mistakes. lol.I'll check again. Im gonna try to just have the rear signals hooked up and see if they act normal without the fronts. If they dont, i cant think of anything else that could be wrong except the relay. thanks for the reply!

if you wire up just the rears they will fast blink or stay on solid, as you stated before you dont have resistors for the rear.

go and buy a new relay (on a timed circuit rather than the stock current sensing module)

http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1...G&tier2=14

example..

if you need a better explanation of what the new relay will do just let me know.

You just need to wire resistors up, it was a fast blink before and now with more led lights and less resistance the rear which is staying on and flickeringis actually trying to blink so fast it appears solid. Same thing happened on mine when i wired up my integrator after my protons... on another blue 04 haha.

They're on strobe, ya just one set of resistors should do the trick I havre mine tucked away in my 'trunk'.. You may want to wrap them up several times in electrical tape too cuz those suckers get real hot

thats the problem with resistors...

its not the solution, rather a temporary fix to the problem.

they just add increased load on the system, thus, getting extremely hot, and they may burn up.

replacing the relay puts it back at a near stock flash rate with no resistors...

much easier imo.
