Question Tires and clutch burnt

I just put on my yoshimura RS-5 and I could not be happier with my investment. it gives the perfect sound i was going for and the huge weight reduction with the new titanium really quickened the bike up. But now I believe I have to get a new clutch plate and the rear tire is completely done. I need a tire fast, what is everyone's thoughts on current tires? and it feels like my clutch is being applied randomly when I am not touching it, is this my clutch plate or something worse? thanks for the help.

I don't know about the clutch, but you ask about tires around here and you're going to get everyone's opinion about it and they're all going to say they love them and wouldn't dream of going riding on anything else. Personally, a set of shoes is a set of shoes. Unless you plan on racing at the track, just about any tire will do the job. Of all the threads that get put up, the tire and exhaust threads get real messy because opinions are like a$$holes...everyone's got one.

As far as the clutch goes, go to a honda dealer and get honda clutch plates, replace them all steel's, friction, and springs

opinions, well i had bridgestones on my 03 600rr bt12s great tires, but got Michelin Pilot Powers at the end of last season and love them for daily rides to work and they have so much grip for extreme lean angles, but everyone does have their own set they like, its all about getting a pair you can afford and see how they are, but for the most part, they all will do a great job.
