Thanks Andy! I think I'm going to call Jason and get the pures shipped asap!

Another thing I thought I'd add for everyone is that the correct type and condition of oil plays a HUGE part in how these bikes shift! HOLY COW! Whatever oil the dealership had in there most likely contained some moly and at 2500 miles the oil was just about black! I had been noticing horrible clunky shifts in all gears and couldnt figure it out! Shifting from 1 to 2 esp at higher rpm basically felt like my gear dogs were grinding off! Sometimes it would even kick the shifter back at me and misshift! I noticed that even 2-3 and 3-4 and 5-6 were becoming more and more clunky and making bad sounds even on the most simplest shift! Needless to say, I was swearing just about 60 times a day in my helmet lol

Now Literally after my first ride with this fresh Amsoil, all gears engage like butter. Even 1-2 is just a "click" Now this is what the bike is supposed to feel like! I just knew something was wrong (not sure if you guys have read my "clunky gearbox" posts) but couldnt figure out what it was! Everyone else is saying how smooth their gearbox's are and I'm sitting here going "huh" At one point I even went so far as to blaming myself and that I must not be shifting properly. But nope, I just knew that wasnt the case.

Moral of the story...Oil matters....oh does oil matter I'm officially a believer

Thanks Andy- I remember putting fresh pilot powers on my F4i and noticing what new rubber can really do to the bikes handling and the riders confidence!

Now with fresh Amsoil, the gearbox is silky smooth and as soon as the pilot pures are installed, your right, it's gonna be a whole new bike!

I think I'm going to run the new Pures cold psi 33r/33f. Seem ideal?

Tire pressure is one of those highly debatable subjects with no clear answer, kinda like what oil to use. The manual calls for 42 PSI for the rear and 36 for the front. I personally stick to these numbers. I've never had an issue and the bike has felt good. If you ask me 33 in the rear is too low. The lowest I would go is about 37. That's my

And here's the pilot pures! Guy even gave me a free suspension adjustment and chain lube! Wow....what a different bike!

I'm running 32f/36r for the street
