ATV four wheel things aren't even close to sportbikes.
you will see that when you try to make a high speed turn and don't make it.

When i started out, the only experiance i had ON TWO WHEELS was an Enduro around the farm (which i ran into a wood pile at 5 mph repeatedly) when i was like... 10 years old. The EX500 was a little scary for the first 10 minutes of slow speed turning. I kicked my foot out thinking that i'd certainly bail from the lean. I can't tell you how many times i would have lowsided due to overpowering the rear wheel at slow speedhad i started on a In-line 4 cylinder 100+ HP 600cc supersport. hell, the F2 my brother had scared the hell out of me. thank god i started small. it built the foundation i needed to ride the CBR600RR like i do.

good on you for starting small. the EX250 is shorter and has less power, but everything else about it is the same as the EX500. if you're a quick learner and do the MSF-BRC before you buy, i highly highly HIGHLY suggest the very capable EX500. there's a forum dedicated to the EX500 that i "Moderate" at http://www.EX-500.com/ . Stop by and take a look. register and ask some questions. you'll get all kinds of helpful replies from new riders, veterans, and racing Gurus alike.
