Yes, thats what we are talking about. But I agree with you, its kinda a pain in the ***.

After leaving my 1st helmet (2 weeksold)onmy bike unattended at a restaurant and some F***ing ***** walked off with it, I take myhelmet everywhere with me now.

 

Sorry to hear this...I got my '08 in Novemeber and I used to leave my helmet on the seat of other bikes. The 600RR leans more on the kick stand than any other bike I've had so no helmet on the seat. For this bike, I open the left passenger footpeg and put the chin area of the helmet on the footpeg and let it hang there. Seems pretty stable and doesn't touch the chain guard.
