Default Temp Question

I have a 2003 CBR 600RR and it is the newest bike I have owned. I am used to the old school temp gauge that basically has the blue meaning cold and red meaning your screwed. On this bike it is digital so I am curious as to a good range for a riding temp and at what temp i should get concerned. Thank you for your help.

I have a 1987 Honda CBR 600F Hurricane, and I do have the old H/C gauge and for some reason when I go over 50 mph, it goes to the border of the H! and doesn't really cool down when I go faster, when I come to a stop light, I'd say a little smoke will come from the bike, still rides fine, but definitely worried....

Any advice?

My buddy had a hurricane his didnt over heat that much but he did start leakin oil pretty good and blew the motor up. Id say check coolant level. let it run make sure the fan comes on. and check to see if the front of the radiator isnt plugged with bugs.
