Default tank slapper

I saw something pretty disturbing today and want to know how you can get in to a tank slapper speeding up in 4th gear possiably 3rd from a ball park of 40-45 mph to 55-60 mph ? tires not blown until after.( I know this because I heard them when they went)

Hard acceleration bringin front tire up enought to cross it up when it came back down....
HESD eliminated that problem for me...

i'll try and keep it simple

a motorbikes front wheel performs a balancing act moving a tiny amount from side to side to keep it upright and btw that's why they have bar weights to reduce vibration
now, a tank slapper can accur at any speed for a variaty of reasons. at low speed it's called wobble, in short it's the bike trying to re balance it self. at high speed if you try and stop it it will probably break your wrists

i've kept it short but that is the basic reason why it happens

I saw a few vids on them and they are pretty violent! So the HESD is effective at preventing them? I know I read aftermarket dampeners are recommended, but was wondering how the stock HESD performs. (I'm too new to riding to actually test )

I saw a sad thing happen right in front of me and there are sometalk about the guy changing rims or tires on his own.(but that's just talk) I don't think I will ever know now what really happened. was thinking it was an unbalanced tire or something was not tight? just happend like flipping a switch on.

I was following and keeping pace so I know there was no way the front was off the ground, no screwing around nothing just doing the posted speed on a clean road.

not knowing makes me wonder alot. I was told you can hit the rear brake and hope it stops or plan to lay the bike down if it's getting bad. or pop the clutch lift the front and set it down strait. I guess this is all if you have the time to do so. his was very bad and aside from bailing I don't think he had any choice.

Slight bumps in the road can unsettle your front forks. Had a little mini one this morning after going through some construction, and accelerated through a few small bumps in the road and I got a mini tank slapper.
