Suggestions? Opinions?
My name is Shneer from Upstate NY. I currently ride a 2007 GSX 750F (katana). I've been riding for one season and I now know what I am looking for in a bike. Although my current bike is fun I'm looking for something lighter, faster and something great for twisties. I was thinking next summer I would purchases a 07 CBR 600RR but I didn't know if that would be an upgrade or a downgrade in terms of speed wise.
Should I go to the CBR 600rr or the CBR 1000rr? (not looking for someone to say a litre is too fast for me. IMO if you have clutch control and don't ride beyond your limits you should be fine.)
Opinions, Suggestions GO!
-Thanks-

A 600 is far more forgiving in terms of power delivery. With 80+ftlbs of torque on tap small adjusments of the throttle can have unexpected results...breaking traction in wet or on gravel. The weight difference is not much of a factor.
Good point. And why pay more for power you probly wont ever need to use? A 600 or 750 is perfect if you ask me.
Id say get the 07600RR
ok might be a bit biased here. As far as pwr goes the 07RR will beat your Katana in just about every category! i had an F4i for 2 seasons, before getting my new girl, ZERO regreats this is an awesome bike and won a massive amount of awards! i knew i wanted a 2007 if i got the RR. Good luck
