Default Stock Exhaust

Hey guys, I had a couple of quetsions. I am commited to buying a slip on Akrapovic, aand was wondering how are the installs? Do you have to cut/ weld the slip on, and cut the old piping off or is it a bolt on? I read a couple posts just about it being "easy" to install these pipes. Easy to a welder, or a carpenter? lol Also, a couple weeks back I saw/ listened to a video of a 06 cbr with the stock exhaust chopped off, or no exhaust, and it sounded MEAN! I was wondering if anyone hasdone that, and how easy it was to do. I'd like to do that, you know til I get the Akrapovic in the mail(which is ina couple months).

And NO my county does not have emission testing. I know your all worried

Appreciate it guys

-Mike

It should come with a new mid pipe with the new exhaust. They just bolts onto the headers.

Yeah I tried looking for the bolt part of the headers but I didn't see any. I didn't really look that hard though, so maybe they're there

This may be helpful. Its for a different brand but that shouldn't matter:
