I did'nt do anything to it yet i jus want to modify a stock muffler and make it sound better, louder, cause all the aftermarket slip-ons are ugly and stick out too far for my taste, but i like the look of the stock pipe. I'm going to cut it open ad remove the baffles weld in a single pipe with holes in it, stuff it with fiberglass then weld her back up. but i dont want to be without my bike for a week while i do it. eveyone knows loud pipes save lives!

No but I have one for you if your interested, probely has 200 miles on it. I bought a micron for my bike when i first got it but they had to order it so I took the bike without the new pipe( couldn't wait) Then they installed the micron.

i am not sure if you got an answer yet, but a 2003 pipe will not fit a 2006. the 05-06 are the same pipe. 03-04 are the same. i awhile back made the mistake of getting a 2003 2bros for my 05 and guess what......can you say waste of money. now having a horrible time selling it. back to the qustion....05-06 are pretty much bolted on.... 03-04 models have a kind of suspension system for them. and the swing arms are slightly different shape so the bend in the pipe is different. so yea good luck man.
