Just to add, everyone is talking about suspension which is absolutely true, however; Throttle control and having a relaxed grip on the bars is essential too! Don't be ham fisting the throttle coming out of turns (gently roll it on) and always have a loose grip on the bars. You can check your grip occasionally by making a conscious effort to loosen your grip, bending your elbows (to relax your arms) and wiggle your elbows (like a chicken flapping it's wings). I know that may sound funny and awkward, but people tend to get real tense when riding aggressively.

Practice this and you will soon be naturally relaxed under the craziest riding situations...

Yes! According to Total Control a relaxed grip on the bars is very important. When I started to used this technique my riding improved.

yah dude you really dont need a damper, i ride with a guy who has the same bike i do and when i traded off to feel what the damper could do I think it felt like the damper was fighting me ore than helpng me thats why i decided ot to get one
