Default speedo

I would like to know if anybody with a stock 06rr can tell me what the difference is between actual speed and the what the speedo reads. I'm thinking maybe 5-7mph around 70, so actually 63-65mph.

it varys from bike to bike. that's why you run by a radar station to know for sure. See it the local five-oh will help you, or get with a friend that has a known accurate speed.

Thanks, I didn't think to ask the local's to gun me. I don't see how it would vary if its a stock bike, unless different tires maybe.

Off to see the constable.

When you got bluberries and cherries behind you....youre going to fast and im sure if youre doing 28 in a 25...youre ok...so 3 mph difference isnt gonna sned ya to the hoosegow. If youre doin 115 in a 55 even if its 112 youre still in deep trouble ....so i wouldnt sweat the difference..i dont..

First things first here guys, it's not a set MPH, it's a percentage. going slower will read a more accurate BY THE NUMBER speed, while going faster will indicate a much higher or lower number. @ 100 MPH with a speedo off by 7% will net you a 7 MPH difference, while going 60MPH will net you a 4 mph difference, and at 30MPH it will be 2 MPH difference.

you have to do multiple runs at different speeds to make the % off accurate, then you have to correct it with a speed healer.
