I was under the impression that they rr handled better but only had a couple more horsepower. therefore better in the twisties but neck and neck in the straight aways.

I went with orange 06 RR and havent regretted one minute of it.. I went with this bike zuz i love the undertail exhaust and the styling a little better than the f4i mind you i do like the f4i's too. The handling is better with the RR and the throttle response to me feels better than the f4i. But if ur lookin for gas mileage since ur goin to school my friends f4i got 45 on average and my RR was gettin bout 33 in town and about 40 on the highway..either bike you go with F4i or RR is a good choice but make it a honda.

Ive owned Hondas for streetbikes and ive owned yamajunkers for atvs till now and i messed up and bought a Suzuki Z400 and i regret it, I will not own anything other than a Honda from now on, As for as buying used i would not think twice Honda all the way. Just a lesson learned, sure the others might have something on the Honda but in time with all that top end or lightweight will it get you anywhere when its not running and your cussing it, just my .98 cents shy of a dollars worth.

I had a somewhat similar dilemma when it came to choosing my bike. I ended up going with an 03 600rr. Personally I dont like the lights of the GSXR 6 until the '04 models. From personal experience, and from other friends who are more experienced as riders, the GSXR is much more aggressive stance than the RR which is more aggressive than the F4i. I would suggest the F4i since you're not a big fan of the undertail exhaust. THe GSXR stance may impede your reactions(?) Reading some topics on F4i vs RR (if you havent already) might help you decide for sure. Good luck and be safe.
