If you get a GOOD launch, and a good tuck and perfect throughout you'll beat him... but an NSX is a NASTYY car so watch out[&:]

I didn't go through the entire thread but the one advantage the NSX has is that it's real revvy. They aren't excately that awesome in the quarter mile, but I'm assuming they might be better on the highway. When I had my F4 I raced againstmy buddyin my M3 and I smoked him. I really thought the M would hold up a lot better than it did. But I'd certainly feel that my M would do good against a NSX so I'm sure the bike would be no problem

Is anyone else wondering HOW he is going to race this car at the track? Maybe its just our local track or something, but they NEVER let the bikes run the cars... NEVER

Either waythough it will be a good race. A stock NSX will usually run a low 13 or so. With some bolt on's, expect mid to high 12's with a good driver and good track conditions. But as stated, you are basically racing yourself. Most people that run their bikes in the quater mile can not keep a steady time becuase it is hard to get a good launch on a bike. Most times vary from high 10's to mid 12's depending on the first 60ft.

i have 99.999 % confident on this race...If the NSX runs low 13s and bolts on from Mid 12 to high 12s, i'm not even worrying. I spray in my Z and i was doing 13.2 with factory tires at the time (245/45/18), when I changed to Radial Slicks with 275/35/18I ran 12.976 with 75shots. I know how my Z is, if my Z is about as FAST as his NSX..i'm very confident that my RR will smoke him with 2-3 cars in between (at least). I willllllll definately get the video...DON'T KNOW WHEN i can find another NSX to race hahahhahah.. I can't wait either

damn man.....i thought bikers alway stick together.
That's like saying all whites or other races should stick together. Pretty narrow thinking actually.

I thought you set up a meeting with that one cocky nsx driver. You gotta make him grab his ankles and cry!
