Anyone know off hand the "for sure" diameter of a 03-04 600rr rear axle? I think it's 25mm but have not been able to confirm this. I've searched high and low and haven't found an exact yes or no. I'd appreciate it.

When I first saw the question I thought it would be easy to find the answer. Checked the shop manual and the parts manual and nothing re the diameter of the axle. So, off to the garage where I happen to have the wheels off my 03 rr and out with the vernier. The size of the axle is indeed 25mm; at least mine is

 

Wow man, thanks a lot. Yea, I thought I could at least find it somewhere. I searched google, forums, ronayers and other microfiche archives up and down for axle diameter, spacer ID, bearing ID and nothing lol. Again, thanks a lot man.
