I picked this up off of a road & track review. What have you found?

*************

The undertail exhaust became hot in traffic and if I wasn’t wearing leathers my thighs would’ve roasted like a chicken. You really do notice that this bike is not for the inexperienced street rider as you really have to lean this bike to turn it in, easy to do on the track but on tight slow turns it could be difficult to do....

*************

Thanks!

i've ridden the bike in stop and go traffic at 90 deg. and it's never gotten hot under the seat... the engine was 240 with the fan on... and as for turn in... it's real easy, don't know why that makes it a bad bike for inexperienced riders...

only thing riders that just got on the bike have to remember is that it will out ride you, not the other way round

I could tell the difference in heat with the undertail exhaust....have a carbon slip-on....only 24 today so will have to wait and see til summer if going carbon solves this issue...and love how you can throw this thing around

I installed my CF Micron soon after I bought the bike and choose CF because i was told it ran cooler. For the few weeks I rode with the OEM pipe installed I don't remember it getting so hot that it bothered me.

I can't remember [:@] because I bought the bike in May. I put the Micron CF on about three weeks later and I don't remember the OAT getting that hot that early in the summer.
