I wanted to change front n back brake lines to stanless type .. my buddy told me not to do it cuz .. it might lock up ur brake to easy .. anyone out there running a after market brake lines ? did the performance changed alot ? does it lock up easily ? tks for the info guys

I have had stainless lines for a year now and they are totally worth it. I do not think that i have ever locked up my brakes.

What the ss brake lines will do is keep line pressure steady. Your rubber hoses will only expand under really hard braking and that causes less feel. The ss lines wont make u lock up easier, you just wont have to squeeze the lever as hard when braking hard anymore. Youll feel the difference and adjust automatically.

Other than "bling factor" they have no practicle use on the street, your money would be better spent on chrome spinners...

If you plan on a lot of aggressive track riding (not novice) then you could probably justify them...

this and suspension is what our CBRs are known for stock...but if you've done all the rest of your mods then go for it bro...let me know what you think

Not a big deal for the rear but I love the SS up front. No bling factor for me - if you don't look real close you'd never know they were there. Feel is increased a lot and, like the others said, not as much pressure needed at the lever for hard braking.
