Default quick question from a newb

hey guys i'm a newbie to the honda world and i'm looking at a 2005 cbr 600rr. A friend of a friend has one up for sale but he seems kinda shady... I was wondering where i could check for VIN's and **** like that to make sure its not hot?

Thanks guys!

Just ask for the title....And list up the Mods if any and miles what he is asking etc. There are some guys on here that will tell you good things to look for.

One obvious thing for me to look at is the tire, See if it has a flat spot in the middle from burnouts see if the bike has even been agressively riden check the strips and it will tell you how hard he was on the bike. One thing i have read on here is to check the front tire for any "bubling" in the middle which indicates a hard landing from several wheelies.
