Protecting your front fairing and lower fairings
I have a 2006 Cbr600rr, have ridden the thing about a dozen times through the canyons in San Diego, I will tell you the front fairing and lower fairings are riddled with nick's and small scratches due to road stuff flying up...I met someone who had a clear poly protector on thier bike and it was awesome to see how much protection it saved the fairings. I found out that he paid over a $100.00! for those protectors. It got me thinking, so I designed my own, for far less using a clear PET industrial film that is not only a protector that is self adhesive but it can also be individually designed with print media! If you are interested in maintaining the "new" look of your bike and want to custom print on it give me a reply and I can give you more information! waycooljrband@hotmail.com

RE: Protecting your front fairing and lower fairings
Meanwhile, here's a poor-man's alternative!!
We use this stuff on our Corvettes when we're on track racing....Go to Home Depot or Lowes, etc. Buy some self-adhesive clear carpet protector film. It comes in different sizes, but just buy a roll. Cut some to fit the areas you want to protect & apply it. It will peel right off with no residue or damage whatsoever when you want it off.
I've got some on my new 06 RR as we speak!! Put it behind the front tire where all the damage comes. Looks great! Clear, if you put it on carefully it's difficult to see it at all.
Take care of her!!
