Default Protecting fairings+mileage.

Well I'm looking to protect my fairings, so I was wondering if those frame sliders would help at all? I went to the stealership and was quoted 70 bucks for two of them. Also, I just but my bike with 18,200 miles on it, is that considered really high mileage for these bikes? Thanks.

thats not a lot of mileage. and as far as frame sliders go....yea they will protect your fairings up to a certain extent...they are more for protecting ur frame.hence the name.

Defnitly go cut cut sliders...check out ebay and other motorcycle online stores..there is a huge selection

You should get some sliders.

These are the ones I have on mine: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...-59-VR-11.html

Look simple and neat.
Also if you ever slide your bike they will help you to get your leg from under the bike. Tested on myself
