Default Pricing *dont hate me*

Ok, I guess I took that leap into looking at some bikes around Vegas area. God people are being selfish this year, no one is selling.. But actually found a guy that done a couple of nice mods on this 2003 suzuki GSX-R 750, but Dont know if worth $6,500 even (6,500K miles). I would get myself a honda, but from some of my friends - they say GSXR's are fun too.. Can anyone help me out with a "fair" price range (already did kelly blue book)

Sorry for spamming the CBR forums with suzuki Crap. haha.. (plus have to rush, work in like 5 minutes)

thanks guys

After seeing the new prices of CBR's from Southern Honda in TN... I'd have to say it's high. You can get a new 600RR for less than 7500. Then again... what are the mods? I have a friend that rides, and I've put a few miles on his 750. Nice bike. What was the KBB values?

2003 GSX-R 750. $6500.00 Black/yellow. Excellent condition. 6500mi. HotBodies undertail w/LED lights/sinals, Yoshimura carbon fiber slip-on, Timing Retard Eliminator, TFI fuel injection management unit, geared, speedo recal. unit, race compound tires, Galfer steel braided front brake lines, Galfer HH front brake pads, double bubble windscreen, cover, Always stored under cover and has NEVER been down or abused.

Kelly blue book

(retail value for a 2003 GSX-R 750) - Suggested Retail Value $6730
(trade-in value for a 2003 GSX-R 750) - Trade-In Value (Good Condition) $4650

i love honda's, well mostly any bikes.. but no one in vegas is selling a RR for the right price.. so i'm leaning more towards yamaha and suzuki now (i cant go to dealership.. full insurance is just insane for my age - i'm a used kind of guy, i got a 69 camaro so i'm ok with used vehicles as long as they are in good condition).. I know i will be more prepared when I see the bike, now knowing more about crotch-rockets myself (even tho it's a different brand)

But i'm still ify, i thought $6,500 is alittle high myself.. he never said anything about leather jacket or helmets, so i believe $5,500 should be a fair price (but dont know tons about mods and bike milage)

That's an awesome looking bike. I was going to suggest trying to get him to split the difference on the retail and trade-in price. That's a fair price for both. I like the gixxer 750... and you'll have tons of trunk space. I nicknamed my buddies bike "the hatchback". It's a great bike, has tons of good reviews and has a cult following of some sort. The 01 gixxer 750 in my group out runs the 04 R1 on straights and twisties. I know... it's all about the rider, but the R1 rider and I have about the same skills and the power lets him pull away.

I’d say, if possible, take the seller $5500 in cash and they will let you have it.

yeah usually bringing 5 grand in cash gets them to re-think the idea.. Well i'll call him tomorrow.. it's scary, got a time-rate to get done - parents are doing there routine moving to Idaho for the summer, and I want to get a crotch rocket up there for the summer (so then i can work my Camaro when i want, not dependent on one vehicle again haha)

but yeah, it does look like a sweet *** bike, i would pefer blue/white (the traditional colors) but i got to say, the black/yellow doesnt really look that bad - kind-of better then blue/white...

i would get a 600, but i'm goin to try a 750 this time.. might weight alittle bit more, take alittle bit more effort to lean the bike but might be a cool experience. (not really caring about HP, seeing how bikes are just crazy from the get-go..)

Well thanks guy.. ok cute this thread, enough of suzukis

Well i love the under tail exhaust, but the side exhaust feature has been on bikes since who knows when.. it's like re-positioning the gas tank, i mean the gas-tank always on top.. I guess i'm old school but the side exhaust makes the bike, i mean if i was going moto GP - then yea, under tail exhaust all the way, but side pipes are so awesome and RC51's have dual side pipes (plus if you get brother pipes, you can get the shotguns which make it even more sexier) but cant afford a RC51 and my body cant handle that kind of weight, power, and TORQUE.. but i can dream

but honda with a hotbodies undertail kit is ill too.
