Default Price check on 07 600rr

I turned this guy down. He's been trying to sell through CL for a couple months. Started out at 6k and is now down to 5k.

It's got pretty good rash on the right cowl and is missing a screw. There is minimal rash on the left cowl. The fairing stay is cracked, but the upper cowl looks sound. There are also some minor scratches on the rear cowl. The left foot peg is bent. The battery won't hold charge. Rear tire needs to be replaced. No evidence of rash on engine cover, bar ends, or mirrors.

Beyond those things the bike seems mechanically sound and has an undertail kit and flush signals. No other mods. Has 12,000 mi.

Would you guys pay 5k for that?

No. It is hard to give you a solid number because prices change on where you live. But if you would like a reference point I paid $5200 for my 07 with 2600 miles and it is in mint condition. Even threw in a free helmet and jacket. Sounds like the bike needs a decent amount of work. Personally I would not pay more than $4K for that bike but everyone is different.

Blue book is $6200 here. Yeah, I wasn't buying that thing. I felt sorry for him too. The kid was 18 and riding around with no insurance and no plates. Made me wonder if he even bothered to register the thing, and that suggests title problems.

Thats a pretty solid deal Rdub.

But yeah Tim - pass on that one. Last year I paid 7 grand flat for my 09 with somewhere around 600-800 miles on her. Yoshi exhaust / Tinted Puig / Seat cowl / Fender elem all included.

Heck yeah it was. It was some guy who bought it brand new and never rode it. He said he was done with bikes so didn't need the gear and just wanted it out of his garage. I could not let that deal pass me up.
