Does anyone know what the standard BHP is for my bike? I've got a scorpion exhaust on there as well.

Also, anyone know what the approx 0-60 is?

just had my 03 on dyno, 106.37bhp, and 44.44torque, standard just a power cammander. Next is anakrapovic can, and volocity stack getting, and a custom map, he hoping for 112 at wheel, any more would require head work!
guy who looks after me (Paul, from dyno bike)tunes side cars in the TT, they use cbr600rr engines and run 127-132bhp

volocity stacks, they are on the throttle bodies, If you have long ones you gain up top if you use shorter ones you will gain lower down. If you are lucky enough to own a new R1 they have variable which means the ECU can control the lenght of them at any one given time. I'm having long ones put on, cos i ride the smallest cc bike in our ride outs which means 10k-15k all the time, good fun though

Ok I get ya. Sounds cool.

I don't really know anyone yet that have bikes like us, so I don't have that problem, yet!

Do you find it difficult to keep up with the 1000cc bikes then?

No not at all, on the straights they pull away, and corners i'm fast in and fast out, i shred tyresthough, i run power race medium soft rear, soft front, get about 1100 miles out the pair, i'v done 1500 miles on bike and and i amon my second set, 2 slides in the dry, not a problem,1 serious slapper in the wet, but that was me being a tw@t(had to pull over to empty my pants) The trick is dont brake kick her down, soon as you see exit of corner, get it pinned, so that when the bike just gets up straight your at 14500rpm kick it up same for ever corner, i fXcked at the end of the day though. i just do my best most of them got 50ponnies on me

In regard to you other post about problems, the only one i know of is iff you race, the pistons are fine but the bores dont ware even ie. curcle they go oval, but dont worrie unless you start racing

Ok awesome..

I don't plan on racing, I've always been fairly reserved when riding bikes. Having said that, this is in a different league to what i'm used to. Only ever had a couple 125cc bikes (Yammy DTR125 and an Aprilia RS125).Just going to take it easy till I know what the bike can do.. Need at least my arms for work

Rs125 is an AWESOME bike had one loved it

Make sure suspension is standard, keep weight well over the front and relax, like you have taken valium, dont want stiff shoulders!
find a straight bit of road a use 1st and 2nd gear and nail it then slow down then nail it, this is a good technique to get use to the accelaration. before you do that though, use the sme bit of road get to 40mph then jump un the front brake(lean back)
do the same with the back then both togeter, be carfull but once you lern just how hard you can brake it will fill you full of confidence. never ride passed the vanashing point. try steering without you body moving just counter steering. what tyres have you got on your rims
