My opinion K&n really didnt make much of a diffrence.going up 3 on the back and -1 in front did alot.if you have the cash and your looking for a major increase in power get a turbo charger.I know its costly but once you got it you wouldnt go back. Its like going from an escort to a ferreri.for now I would go with maybe a power commander and a full system exaust. for under a grand and while your at it spend the 60.00 and through the k&n air filter it will make it breath better.

the power commander is really easy to install. and definately the first thing that i would install to increase performace. get the pc3usb and you can download maps from dynojet and install them directly to your bike. check it out. www.powercommander.com
so before a slip-on or anything? shouldn't the bike be tuned already to stock setup? not arguing just don't understand

You should be able to tweek a few horses with just a power commander. I also recommend doing your upgrades in phases so you can see the difference with each. After the PC then do a slip on. Then after the slip on if you still want some lower end power gear it -1 in front and +2 in the back.

So is your right hand gonna be able to handle all that extra power? The very best mod on any bike is improving the rider ... just a thought.
I totally agree, this bike (and any sport bike) is more than any of us can handle and has plenty of horse power! Don't get wrapped up in the "I need more horse power" game, these things aren't cages (cars) and can seriously injure or kill you if you mistreat it.

Do the best mod and get the rider improvement kit (a track school), and you'll smoke just about any schmuck out there with your under powered RR.
