If it's set up wrong then it will be nothing. A Power Commander is a tuning device used to fine tune the fueling and is best used with an exhaust and/or upgraded air filter. You would be able to get aminimal increases on a standard bike but the time and cost of having it properly set up on a dyno wouldn't make the increse worth while. Any gain would be mainly smoothing out the power and fueling.

How 'bout none - that's not what a PC is for. Oz is correct.

yep
the PC is not a hp increasing device. it makes the air fuel curve correct which keeps the bike from running to rich or lean.

this is turn gives the added advantage of increasing hp
by leaning out rpm/throttle position places where it is too rich and the opposite where it is too lean

If you have modified the airflow by adding an exhaust, air filter, slip on....it will help. It will help even on a stock bike by optimizing the air/fuel ratio and all that fun stuff. It won't give you horsepower, but it will give you a much better-running bike and you will definitely notice the difference I think.

Here's the results of mine after adding the Yosh S/O and filter too. The custom map is where the gains are.

Adding just a Power Commander to your bike will improve the rideability (very important, more important than horsepower)of the bike, without a doubt. Horsepower gains will be minimal unless the bike is way off on it's fueling, which is very likely considering the new emissions standards. The newer your bike is the more improvement I would excpect from adding a Power Commander due to the strict emissions standards getting stricter over time.
