on my 07 im pretty sure it mounts to the subframe, ill check tomorrow and see, its getting cold

 

Thanks man i appreciate it. Does anyone know if they sell custom heat shields for bikes or even better does anyone know how to mount the plastic pipe cover right above the right footpeg without buying or using the het shield?

 

that lil plastci peice should just bolt on to the peg bracket at the top-its in one of those pics

 

correct. Where does the upper bolt in the plastic piece bolt. I am assuming the original heat sheld. Also how does the heat shield bolt on. LOL this has been ongoing. If ur bike is an 07 i am pretty sure it is diff from the 06. Thanks for the helpo though.
