PCIII USB MAPS HELP!!!!
im sorry in advance for the long post... My power commander IIIUSB is in the mail on its way and i was wondering if anyone has had any problems at all with them. I know if not properly tuned it will do more dammage than good so i was wanting to know do most people use a map off their web sight or do you play with the software and create your own. I would like some advice as to which map off their web sight to start out with as a base line with a yosh rs-5 slip on and k&n filter. im not looking for 1000 extra horsepower i just want it to run a little stronger and have a little better throttle response. of corse i want the most out of it so any ideas or advise is greatly apreciated.
one last thing i talked to a dyno operator and he said on our bikes there is a hose on top of the valve cover somewhere that dumps fresh air into the cylenders and that if i did not disconnect them the power commander would not work properly, is he feeding me a line of **** or is this something i need to look into?
thanks everyone.

Does anyone know if the maps you download off the dynojet web sight were created on our bikes with the PAIR system eliminated during the tuning? if you have no idea what im talking about (PAIR SYSTEM) please read this write up, this is what the dyno operator was talking about that i mentioned above. the link is: http://www.peterverdonedesigns.com/600RRpairsmog.htm
let me know what you think.

bro your best bet is to have a dynotech qualified employee install the PCIII and put it on a dyno right there. They guarantee their work if I remember right. If you decide other wise, install it yourself and either use the maps dynojet gives you or find someone on here with the same setup you have and ask them to email you their map....
