Is there some reason the following black piece is not painted? I would like to paint this if I can,

I'm not sure what piece you're talking about...could you draw a little arrow pointing to the part in the picture?

Fretless33, I'm talking about hte big black plastic piece in between the frame, tank and seat. It ahs one screw holding it down. The only thing I can think of is your leg rubs against it. Not enough of a reason for me.

I've seen that piece painted on some 600RR's... looks decent. I like mine the way it is though

With the right prep work, it could be painted...what color do you want to paint it?

I did a silver one for ya...

Hey Fret, not sure if you were trying to be your funny self again, but I laughed anyways

Yeah that piece is just a side panel, covers up the frame a bit and holds the front of your rear cowl in place. Don't really see the point in painting it, especially if you're gonna do it black.

Fretless33, that looks real good, Thanks for doing that. I however was thinking about repainting it the 2004 Candy Blue paint scheme.

The whole bike, or just the cover?
