Once and for all
If you get a low range pipe you will get a little better down low but not much. The engines are not design for low end power. Buy a slip-on that sounds nice and put that extra money tword something else.
never looked at dynos before...what the heck?!?!! I do not see where they say which is stock and which is with 2Bro...help

Well you get what you pay for, ive always been a firm believer in that. the cheaper companies out there sure youll lose something here and there. A top of the line system tuned correctly will leave you grining from ear to ear. i am running a full arata ti with custom tunning and let me tell you there is no loss anywhere. i have to be conservative off the line with the bike or it will lift up something fierce. and this is on a 600. my 600 has more take off power than my 1000 and no i dont have sprokets on it.

im speaking from real life expierence most of you are internet know it all jockeys. Untill you cough up the coin and try it dont doubt it.
if S/O were so much better that Full systems dont you think you would see more S/O on race bikes?

full systems will give you more horsepower gains than slip-ons. thats because there is lower back pressure. the horsepower gains are mostly in the top end. if you constantly ride track, a full system is for you. back pressure is your friend in the low rpm range. that is why almost all stock exhaust systems outperform aftermarket (full or slip-on) pipes in the low rpm range. i am a firm believer in the HTEV in my stock head/mid pipe after riding a same year 929 with a full system micron. it screamed on top but i felt that my 2bros slip-on with pc3r was best for my riding. better low end and throttle response was better.
as far as the "internet know it all jockeys" comment goes, im choosing to ignore that. i ride better than i type. and i can type pretty good.

Good day everyone...new here. but I have to agree w/ 600rrJOE. Arata system makes more power than the slip on everywhere through the curve.
the only exhaust thats proven to make more hp than the Arata is the Yoshimura s/o. excellent quality..light as the arata & arrow, and alot cheaper to buy. My advice for everybody is save the money and get the Yosh!!
