well i need a new front cowland left mid and lower i hav an all blk 06 cbr600rr and well do i spend 800 on new oem or buy a primer "after market plastic" and try to paint ti? i need some advice pleace asap

 

I think it depend entirely on the deal you could find for an aftermarkert one.

when i dropped my bike and screwed up the left fairing, it was cracked, just scratched really bad, and had it repainted for around $100 (pretty much paint costs) as where a new fairing would have cost me around $285. It looks brand new, just like it had came off the floor at a dealership. The paint cost so much because I had the red on my bike color matched, so im sure black wouldn't be as expensive. If the fairing is cracked, you can bondo it back and sand down bondo that sticks out on the side that everyone will see and then have it repainted. Hope that helps.
