Default New tread

Yesterday I noticed some cords showing on my rear tire so needless to say its time for new ones. I was looking on motorcycle superstore for some and looked at their preferred installer function and saw a shop would install them for $65! I call the shop and they confirmed that they will install both tires and I bring them the bike, not wheels, for $65. They also said they will match motorcycle superstore prices which was really cool. After talking with the guy I settled on Dunlop Q2's. It will cost $316 for both tires and install. He also said for $60 he can setup my suspension to my weight which I will probably do. Any riders on here have their suspension setup to them? Notice any difference in handling? I will post back when the tires are installed and how I like them. The name of the shop is Rubber Soul Motor sports by the way.

Yeah it is pretty sweet I think. People on 600RR.net seem to think that $60 is high to tune the suspension and that $30-40 is reasonable. This might sound like a noob question but where can I get the suspension setup at? I want to call a couple places to get quotes and see if this place will price match.

set it up yourself, it's not that hard.

read this:
Sport Rider Suspension Tuning Guide-Dialing It In

give it a try. what's the worst that an happen? you can always go back to factory settings, the specs are in the service manual.

Nice.

Sounds like a good deal.

Can't speak on the suspension set-up but good call on Q2's. I had them on the 09 before my last change. Good rubber.
