Whichever one you like. Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli, the list goes on. All reputable and will serve your purpose just fine.

I will only run Powers but do not run miss match tires.. so buy the front with it, mine was $265 for both pair shipped to my door.

If you still have the stock front tire, I would go with a Qualifier (going for $118 bucks on bikebandit.com). That would be the closest tire to match the stock front.

I switched earlier this yearfrom the stock michelin pilot sports to the pilot powers and I love them. I'm pretty confident that it is all I will ever put on my bike now because I don't feel any need to even try anything new. I opted for the 2-ct's (2 compound tread) because I ride in a straight line everyday to work. They have a little bit harder tread compound in the middle so that part of the tire doesn't wear as quickly. Also because I live in Illinois and all the roads here are straight and boring and I have to ride to Wisconsin to find a road that doesn't go straight.

I got a tire question. What do you guys think about these dual compounds? My middle wearing more than sides mostly interstate. I could use a tire with real hard middle and pretty soft sides. I mean I would love it If i could get a tire with really hard center and pretty soft sides don't know if such an animal exist though. I need the real hard centers cause when i do go riding fast the speed is maintained for good stretches on the interstate and such. Any ideas sugjestions would be great thanks.

Yea Michelin makes the Pilot power 2-ct's. They come with a harder more durable compound in the middle for longer tire lifeand a softer compound on the outsides for more grip. Its a really nice tire ( so i've heard ).

New to the bikes? Pirelli Diablo Stradas are your best bet for handling AND milage. If handling is the primary concern, Pilot Powers are the best thing going in my opinion.

You can mix brands front and rear without the bike spontaniously combusting or crashing for no reason, so don't let anyone tell you different. The primary reason to run like tires is for wet weather.
