Default New Rider..Need all the help possiable!!

Hey guys, new rider here. I was wondering if you guys have any advice for a noob rider. I'm taking the MSF course in a week or so. Right now I'm trying to better prepare myself before riding. Do you guys think an 2006 CBR 600RR would be a good idea to start with, I'm 5'10 medium build 180 pounds(if it matters)..and thats the only bike I really want to ride..BTW I also need some tips on what to look for when it comes to buying a used bike....Thank you all ahead of time..!

the forum is in the process of being updated with a new program that will fix this.

as for an RR as a starter... do you have ANY experience riding anything with 2 wheels and a motor?

A 600RR is a very aggerssive bike to start on
it can be done, but
Take it slow, wear all your gear, respect the machine, never overesitimate your abilities
no matter how confident you feel... you're no Rossi.

+1 what WDR said.... always respect the machine and never be cocky with it, if you are it will bite you and show you that its more capible than your skills

yeah its too aggressive in my mind for a beginner bike, +1000 on WDR. buy a smaller or less aggressive bike. the rr is a super bike so its gonna be really easy to be stupid on. get an f4i or something.. still an amazing bike
