Sad to see the damage, but it looks like you came out a lot better than the bike (thank God)! How did it happen and what's the damage...it's hard to see in the pictures?

i went out swimming at my buddies pond and on the way home decided to take one of the fun roads around my area, roads that we always hit up in gear. i wasnt going as fast as we normally go due to the not having a jacket, but we had alot of rain lately and some loose gravel got washed out into the road in one turn. so the bike started sliding to the outside of the turn and i just leaned the bike into the grass and i jumped off as far into the grass as i could. i was still going way faster then i should have and i still cant beleive that with what my body went over i came out how i did. lesson def. learned

very familiar story. same thing happened to a guy i know a couple weeks back. only difference - he had his wife on the back. neither were wearing gear but landed in a grassy field. they got lucky.

sucks to hear that, specially when you were about to put the sliders on... that happened to me, but all it had was a lil bit of road rash and about about half of dime paint chipped off although i was going like 5-10 tops anyways as long as you're fine the bike can be fix... hopw u get to get it fix soon...

Man that could have been a lot worse. You are a lucky guy. Atleast you didn't scrap up your back. Are you gonna fix it yourself or file a claim on your insurance? You are the second person I have heard about going down the same day your sliders arrive in the mail. Mental note for myself is not to ride the day my sliders come in.
