haha just kidding. I just knew that someone would want to open this post and rip me a new one if i wrote that!

Anyway, for anyone out there who took off the license plate holder thing on their new 600RR... where did you mount the license plate? I'm trying to see what the most common thing to do is. Thanks!!

i know of a few people in town that have them on their swing-arm, of course this does call for a specific bracket.

I found the best looking thing to do is make your own with L brackets from Home Cheap-O and mount it to your battery box.

And that's on the cheap...hahaha

Why would you want to drill anything when the brackets are already there? Im talking about the brackets for the rear side reflector brackets. Mine is going to look awesome, even using stock signals behind the plate. Pictures will be up soon. Im still working on it, cold front and all!

I just put a huge radiator clamp around my exhaust and then bough an L bracket to attach to license plate.

all you need is 2 L brackets a very large hose clamp...
wrap the clamp around your exaust
crew your plate to the L brackets
slide the L brackets between your exaust and the hose clamp and then tighten the clamp
there you go no drilling no holes nada
and you can't get no cheaper than that....
check out what i got on mine its very similar exept my dumbass payed $30 bucks...when I got it i said dammit I could made that **** myself.

what i did was absolutely free, and i didnt even have to unmount my tag.

i used the bracket that the license mounts to (stock), cut off midde and right tabs(with the bolts in em'),
bent the left one up and bolted it to the battery box(which doesnt hurt anthing at all)
