You guys do realize that HONDA started that style front end with the rc 51...... right? Everybody keeps saying R6 R6!.... cmon... its more rc51 than r6.... It is a bit different, but everyone is making huge assumptions everywhere else as to how sh**! a bike it is after seeing a few pics... hahaha... you can tell riders and lookers by the reaction from the pics... cmon, its new stuff... its similar to the others but its also different. I just cant wait to test ride one... they should be naaaasty

The result was a claimed 20lb reduction in dry weight over the 2006 model, from 361 lbs to 341 lbs.
While the new engine is smaller and lighter than it's predecessor, it also offers increased performance, to the tune of a claimed 118hp (at the flywheel) at 13,500rpm
The reflexes of the new bike are sharpened by its 22mm (0.86") shorter wheelbase
Honda Electronic Steering Damper
The smaller, sharper-edged new front upper fairing is dominated by the large central ram-air duct (which feeds the airbox through an opening in the steering head section of the frame), and is seperated from the sides of the fairing by a large gap
The new three-spoke cast aluminum wheels are also lighter than those on the '06 bike

Finally a real gas guage

HERES THE RC51 NOSE, JUST SO NO ONE GETS THE 600RR NOSE CONFUSED WITH THE R6

It still looks more like an R6 in the front than an RC51...way more but the front still looks good. Hate the tach...looks like it came off a Honda Element or something with big *** numbers. If the hp at the crank is 118 approx, that should be like 105-110 at the wheel - not much of an improvement.
The HESD is a nice add on, but not needed on a 600. I would've rather seen a hydra clutch or a slipper instead...a cable clutch for 2007? Come on.
